Paris 2024 and EDF have teamed up to create a fuel-free flame, made entirely from water and light.

A 100% electric flame based on the simultaneous, controlled projection of a cloud of mist and a powerful stream of light, creating a living, warm electric flame. 

Located in the heart of the Tuileries Gardens, the official cauldron of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be lit and accessible to the public throughout the competition period.

Please note that the site can only be accessed on presentation of a special one-time use QR code. This QR code only gives access to the Olympic Vasque site, and does not constitute an access ticket for the other competition sites. 

In addition to a close-up experience of the Olympic Vasque, the QR code gives you access to the Tuileries Gardens.

There are no lockers or cloakrooms on site. Please refer to the list of authorised / prohibited items for access to the site.

Throughout the Games, the rules for visiting the Tuileries gardens continue to apply. 

However, the rules for the Olympic Vasque take precedence over those for the Tuileries Gardens throughout the period of the Olympic and Paralympic Games
